It’s our first (and last) Monday with NFL and NBA overlap, and I have a few angles I’m looking to take advantage in the player prop market. We’ll be sticking with NBA betting picks for today and honing in on some of the best NBA odds to target in the prop betting world.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Brooklyn Nets: Caris LeVert OVER 23.5 points (-110, BetMGM)
This one went off the board at most books, but BetMGM is still offering it at a number worth taking advantage of. It’s been a wild 24 hours for the Nets. Unfortunately, Brooklyn lost Spencer Dinwiddie for the season due to a torn ACL. Dinwiddie was starting over LeVert, which already upped LeVert’s stock moving forward.
But after a brutal loss in Charlotte last night, the Nets ruled out Kevin Durant and eventually Kyrie Irving for rest purposes. Now LeVert won’t only start but should be the go-to guy. We saw this situation play out at the end of the regular season and in the bubble, and LeVert consistently put up big numbers — including a 51-point game against the Celtics. This number was set at 20.5 on DraftKings when we knew Durant and Dinwiddie were out, but going up just 3 points with Irving ruled out is a little light. This news now moves LeVert on the ball for the majority of the game.
Keep an eye on other books to see if it opens up again, but if BetMGM is the only place offering, I’m very comfortable with this prop.
