FINAL ROUND The Masters Expert Golf Betting Picks & PGA Odds

Welcome to the Awesemo Expert Golf Betting Picks for the 2022 Masters final round. Scottie Scheffler (-185) is the odds-on favorite heading into Sunday’s action – he struggled Saturday on 18 and barely escaped the final hole with a bogey. Holding a three-shot lead, Scheffler will play alongside Cam Smith (+280) in the final pairing. Smith sits at 6 under, two strokes ahead of Sungjae Im (+1700) at 4 under. Both Charl Schwartzel (+16000) and Shane Lowry (+5500) enter the day at 2-under. Justin Thomas (+7500) and Corey Conners (+19000) are the last two golfers in the red, both at 1-under.

Round 4 Golf Betting Picks Today | The Masters

Bet: Top Outright Candidate: Cam Smith

Just two years ago Smith found himself in a similar situation, as he and Im were chasing an eventual winner in Dustin Johnson. Smith has a chance to replace that 2nd-place finish with a win on Sunday; he was able to finish strong despite a bogey on 16, and Scheffler’s five bogeys, four coming on the back nine. Smith rebounded from a 74 on Friday with a 68, and showed composure in the bunker on 16, but failed to capitalize on the leader’s struggles. Expect Smith to be dialed in and take full advantage of recent history knowing the exact feeling of what he’s facing. This has truly come down to a two-horse race and Smith still has favorable odds to win the Masters.

Bet: Outright Value: Sungjae Im

Im also had a strong finish to counter Scheffler coming apart at the final hole. After doubling one, and adding two more bogeys on the front, Im fired off five birdies over the final 12 holes. That’s significant momentum for one of the more consistent golfers on tour, but he still sits five strokes off the lead. He’s going to need help and can’t afford to make any mistakes. Like Smith, Im will rely heavily on past experience where the tandem saw Johnson pull away from the pack. Im carded a 71 on Saturday, bouncing back from a 74 where he failed to maintain his first-round lead. Scheffler has two strong golfers with recent deep-round experience at the Masters behind him, both Im and Smith present a problem.

Bet: Deep Shot Justin Thomas

Thomas is the only remaining golfer not mentioned above that has the ability to fire off a 65 on the final day. Any longshot this far off is going to need significant help from the leader, but Sheffler was far from stellar on his final nine holes. Thomas is far removed from that awful first round 76, and is barely holding on after an even-par 72 on Saturday. Thomas ended his day with a bogey on 18, but did birdie 16 and 17. It might be enough to rekindle the confidence of an accomplished golfer like Thomas, or simply bring him back to Friday where he dominated the course with six birdies and a lone bogey.
