It’s not every day you’ll get me pumping up Cedi Osman NBA odds and props, but in tonight’s Cavaliers – Grizzlies game, I’m hitting that market for my NBA betting picks.

Cavaliers vs. Grizzlies: Cedi Osman OVER 19.5 Pts + Reb + Ast (-125)
The Cavaliers are slammed with injuries right now, particularly in the backcourt. Kevin Love is out long term, and we’re yet to see Kevin Porter Jr. or Matthew Dellavedova make their season debuts.
On top of that, Darius Garland and Dante Exum have also essentially missed the last two games (Exum was injured in the opening minutes of Monday’s game). That has opened up more minutes for Osman as a playmaker. He played 38 minutes against the Magic on Monday, finishing with 18 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for 32 total. While he fell short in the rematch against the Magic, he still posted 4 points, five rebounds and seven assists for 18 total, and that was on 1-for-12 shooting.
Assuming we get anything close to average shooting out of Osman, this is a very modest total to reach for a shorthanded team against a soft Memphis team. I’ve locked this one in as a play already, but it could easily be a two- or three-unit play, pending the news.
Both Collin Sexton and Damyean Dotson are questionable for Cleveland on Thursday, this being the second night of a back-to-back. If Dotson is out, I’d be fine sprinkling a little more here, but if Sexton is out, I think we can really go in for a larger play here.
Sexton is averaging 25.1 points, 3.5 assists and 2.1 rebounds, eating up 37.2 minutes with very high usage. Virtually out of guards, Osman would almost be forced to run point for 35-plus minutes in this game without Sexton. Go ahead and lock the play in, but let’s pay attention to the news to potentially take a larger position.
