For those that get so invested in The Masters and all of the PGA DFS contests, the Monday after can feel like the day after Super Bowl Sunday. But the glaring difference between the two is that there is still a ton of great golf ahead, including a great field/course this week for the RBC Heritage. While the Millionaire Maker contests may be gone for now, there are some great offerings this week as the golfers assemble on Hilton Head Island. Let’s learn a bit about Harbour Town Golf Links and the world-class field heading to play it, so we can build the best fantasy golf lineups possible and make ideal PGA DFS picks for DraftKings and FanDuel.

DraftKings & FanDuel PGA DFS Picks: RBC Heritage
It was just under a year ago when the tour last in Hilton Head as one of the first stops the PGA Tour made upon the return from the COVID break. Typically this tournament is held the week after The Masters, presenting its winners with a plaid jacket. The winner of the event also gets to hit the ceremonial cannonball tee shot, where they set off a cannon while the previous winner hits a tee ball into the ocean to signify the start of the tournament.
The Course: Harbour Town Golf Links
Harbour Town Golf Links is a little quaint seaside town on the island of Hilton Head and has played host to this event since its inception. It is a tight seaside track that has a beautiful setup around the bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The 18th hole is one of the best finishing holes in all of golf, as it heads right into the lighthouse along the Atlantic Ocean. It is also a short course that cannot be overpowered, as Peter Dye will make golfers pay if they try.

Facts and Figures
- Off the Tee: Much fewer drivers are hit off of the tees at Harbour Town, but that doesn’t make the fairways easier to hit. Golfers hit the fairway just 60% of the time in 2019.
- Approach: That led to a lot of missed greens, around 57% of the time, and on top of all those missed fairways are some of the smallest greens on the entire PGA Tour.
- Around the Green and Putting: Greens these small are rarely a challenge to these players. And that is the case this week, as Harbour Town greens rank as some of the easiest to scramble and putt on.

The RBC Heritage PGA DFS Slate Preview
This week sees a really great opening offering from DraftKings, with $200,000 to first being the top prize of the week. The single-entry $200, however, gets a good bump up from normal weeks, with $50,000 to first.
Sweat Sheet
The three par 5’s are the only holes that get over 10% of the total score for the week, and each of them is either preceded or followed by a challenging hole, making birdie streaks difficult side to get. Getting out to 4 under through six to start isn’t out of the question, though, as the first, second, fifth and sixth are all gettable. Granted, most of these notes are from the April showing in 2019 because last year was a record-setting year in terms of how easy the course played relative to par.
DraftKings Notes and Lineups
Tailing off of that record-setting year, the DraftKings scores were abnormally higher. For example, the winning score for the GPP lineup in 2019 was 546 points, compared to the winner in June of over 740. That’s a crazy discrepancy to have on one course, but that should trend more towards the 2019 showing than the one in 2020 in terms of scoring for this year.
$5 Buy-In, $444,444 Guaranteed
Whenever one finds a 0.9%-owned winner and has 6-for-6, it’s no surprise to see it take down massive GPP. The top end was absolutely crushed by this user while actually missing out on two of the four players, but the 0.9% owned C.T. Pan more than made up for it.
The RBC Heritage Player Preview
Thirty golfers in the world’s top 50 make the short 2.5-hour drive to the coast to Hilton Head. Dustin Johnson, fresh off his first-ever missed cut at Augusta, headlines the field. He’s joined by Patrick Cantlay, Webb Simpson, Tyrrell Hatton, Bryson DeChambeau and Collin Morikawa as six of the world’s top 10 here to play.
Previous Winners
- 2020: Webb Simpson
- 2019: C.T. Pan
- 2018: Satoshi Kodaira
- 2017: Wesley Bryan
- 2016: Branden Grace
