Hassan Whiteside: Portland Trailblazers vs. Washington Wizards

This is an amazing spot for Hassan Whiteside as the Wizards just do not have anyone capable of guarding him. This is the final game of a four city West Coast swing for Washington who lost last night in Sacramento. Despite being down by 27 at halftime, the Wizards rolled off a 46 point third quarter to end the frame tied 95-95 before faltering down the stretch.
Over their last 15 games, Washington has the third worst rebounding rate and they are playing at the fourth fastest pace. Hassan Whiteside is second in the league with 14.2 rebounds per game and he is second with 47 double doubles in 57 outings for an 82.5 rate along with making 61.0% of his field goal attempts.
Additionally, Whiteside is leading the league with 3.1 blocks per game. When these two teams met in early January, he dropped 61.8 fantasy points with 23 points, 21 rebounds and five blocks.
For those of you worried about the return of Damian Lillard, Whiteside is averaging 1.32 fantasy points per minute when both C.J. McCollum and Lillard on on the court with him.
Good Value
Luka Doncic: Dallas Mavericks vs. New Orleans Pelicans

Yes, this is not a typical value play, but we have plenty on the slate. After having written 125+ editions of this article this season, I am taking a little leeway. This game is on ESPN tonight and Dallas plays again on Friday and Sunday before a Tuesday/Wednesday back-to-back next week.
While Luka Doncic is not going to win the MVP this year, he has won a spot in the hearts of DFS players with his amazing performances this season. He is sixth in the league scoring 28.5 points per game, eighteenth with 9.3 rebounds and fourth with 8.8 assists. Plus he leads the league notching 13 triple doubles and he is sixth with 8.9 three-point attempts per game. This is a back-to-back for the Pelicans who lost at home last night to the Timberwolves.
We have the luxury of playing any two stars we want and there is probably enough value to get in a third, so be sure to make the appropriate lineup construction decisions for your main roster.
Risky ValueÂ
Boston Celtics at Cleveland Cavaliers
While there will be a lot of value plays from this game with all of the injuries, we will want to be careful. Cleveland will be without Darius Garland, Andre Drummond and Alonso McKinnie with Tristan Thompson questionable. Boston is missing Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum along with Gordon Hayward and Jaylen Brown being listed as doubtful. Additionally we are waiting on any news of a potential suspension for Marcus Smart who had a very spirited argument with the officials last night.
It is important to remember that with so many key players missing, the understudies may not be able to carry a full-scale prime time effort on their own. We definitely should still be playing a lot of these guys, but just know that the rest of the field will be as well.
Naturally as I was getting ready to post this, news came out that Jayson Tatum (illness) is probable. He would be a phenomenal options if he gets even close to his usual minutes in this matchup.

- Malik Beasley: Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Chicago Bulls – 1.55x multiplier
Our standout SuperDraft recommendations for today include Hassan Whitesude who was detailed above. Next we have Caris LeVert who is on a back-to-back coming off an outstanding performance last night where he dropped 51 points on the Celtics in an overtime victory. He played 35.8 minutes, but that 1.55x multiplier makes up for a lot of the risk in a good matchup against the Grizzlies. Finally we have Malik Beasley who is also coming on off a back-to-back and who holds a 1.55x multiplier. He played 35.6 minutes last night in New Orleans and this game will be the third time the Timberwolves have played in four days. Keep in mind he was not overly taxed for minutes during the first half of the season when he was with Denver, plus there is a chance his new teammate D’Angelo Russell gets a night off for rest.
Final Thoughts
We could have additional news that shakes the slate if Anthony Davis gets another game to rest is various maladies, plus we are waiting on Toronto news about Fred VanVleet and Serge Ibaka.
