Sunday brings pure, unadulterated wickedness as the Association wraps up the regular season with every team in action beginning at 1 p.m. ET on DraftKings. FanDuel is running two split slates for their larger tournaments. There are several options in the player pool worth analyzing to find the top NBA DFS building blocks and NBA DFS picks for DraftKings and FanDuel lineups, including Brandon Ingram, Stephen Curry, LeBron James and more.
NBA DFS Picks Today: Sunday, April 9
Sunday brings two waves of games. Every Eastern Conferences squad tips off at 1 p.m. ET, and then the Western Conference joins the battle en masse at 3 p.m. ET.
Because there is all sorts of uncertainty, today’s article will focus on key situations suitable for DFS gamers to “trust” — if we can even use that word.
Utah Jazz-Los Angeles Lakers
Finally, a game that counts. The Lakers can get out of the Play-In Tournament, but they need to secure a victory and get help. Expect LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves and D’Angelo Russell to see big minutes.
Utah sat its entire regular rotation on Saturday, yet the deep reserves pulled off a plucky win against the Nuggets. Kris Dunn is a core play in this “Remember me?!” matchup, with Luka Samanic, Ochai Agbaji, Simone Fontecchio and Udoka Azubuike all neutral main-slate options and above-average plays in the later contests.
San Antonio Spurs-Dallas Mavericks
Dallas will be resting everyone, and this is a back-to-back for San Antonio. We need to see starting lineups before making any recommendations here.

Memphis Grizzlies-Oklahoma City Thunder
Same as the above game, except these two teams still have games next week.
Sacramento Kings-Denver Nuggets
This is the same as the Spurs-Mavericks game, except these two teams still have games next week.
Los Angeles Clippers-Phoenix Suns
The Clippers can stay out of the Play-In Tournament with a victory; Kawhi Leonard and the rest of the starters are in play.
Phoenix will not be risking anyone, so expect major minutes for Saben Lee, Jock Landale, Damion Lee and Landry Shamet. Josh Okogie, Darius Bazley and Torrey Craig are likely to play some minutes, so there is a chance that the Suns will keep this game interesting into the second half.
Golden State Warriors-Portland Trail Blazers
The Warriors can stay out of the Play-In Tournament with a victory, so expect their starters to play until the game is well in hand.
This is back-to-back for the Trail Blazers, but they have been without their starters for weeks. Rookie Shaedon Sharpe should get major usage, and Trendon Watford continues to impress from a fantasy perspective. Shaquille Harrison, John Butler, Jeenathan Williams and Kevin Knox round out the other options, with each likely to see 26-plus minutes.
New Orleans Pelicans-Minnesota Timberwolves
Both teams can improve their lot with a victory. This is a back-to-back for the Timberwolves, who have a chance to get a home game in the Play-In Tournament with a win and help. They will be watching the scoreboard to see how Golden State and the Los Angeles teams are doing. Expect a regular rotation for most of this game unless it is completely out of hand.
New Orleans can stay ahead of the Timberwolves with a win, and there is a slight chance they could get out of the Play-in Tournament. Brandon Ingram is the core play of the day, and the rest of the Pelicans are steady selections as well.
