In the past a lot of teams would put a lot of attention on Julio Jones in the red zone, and that allowed other receivers to be the beneficiary of a Matt Ryan touchdown pass. Now opposing teams may do that to Ridley in his first year as the go-to guy. If that is the case, Pitts will easily cruise right over 6.5 touchdowns, as most teams will not give him daunting coverage. Do not forget, Pitts had four touchdowns in one game last year at Ole Miss.
Mark Andrews – Over 6.5 Touchdowns Receiving
With rookie Rashod Bateman possibly missing the first four games, Andrews will be the No. 1 end zone target in Baltimore. Marquise Brown will get his fair share of targets but does not pose a threat near the end zone. Last season Andrews just barely eclipsed this mark with seven touchdowns, and that was while missing two games. In 2019 he had 10 touchdowns in 15 games. Lamar Jackson was a bit off at times during last season. If he can back to form, Andrews will have a much more optimistic outlook.
Jared Cook – Under 4.5 Touchdowns Receiving
Cook will be entering a new situation with the Chargers, who are loaded with receiving options like WRs Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. Let’s not even forget RB Austin Ekeler when he gets going. QB Justin Herbert will be slinging balls all over the yard, but it appears like Cook will be on the short-end of receiving those touchdowns. Cook had plenty of success as one of the only options in New Orleans, yet this is a much different situation that won’t be great for him.
