We’re now more than halfway into the NFL season and Week 10 brings a brand new slate to break down for DFS purposes. Looking at the DraftKings and FanDuel daily fantasy football main slate, here are a few first look values to target in NFL DFS lineups. We have some nice-looking bargains and a few contrarian NFL DFS picks to get into.
NFL DFS: Week 10 First Look At DraftKings & FanDuel Lineups
NFL DFS Picks: Quarterback
Justin Herbert — Still modestly priced across DFS platforms, Herbert enters the Week 9 slate priced at $6,600 on DraftKings and $8,000 on FanDuel. He now has four of seven games with at least 300 yards passing. In fact, he hasn’t thrown fewer than 264 passing yards in any contest this year. This week, Los Angeles shows down against the Dolphins in a game totaled at 48 points. The Dolphins just allowed Kyler Murray to complete 81% of his passes for 283 yards and three scores.
Derek Carr — Quietly one of the more efficient quarterbacks in the NFL, Carr is completing 69.% of his passes for 7.8 yards per attempt. Priced in punt range on DraftKings and FanDuel, Carr makes sense in cheap stacks. The Raiders draw a home matchup against a struggling Broncos team in a game totaled at 51 points. Denver has allowed at least 30 points in back-to-back games and recently claimed De’Vante Bausby off waivers to help their defensive back woes.
NFL DFS Picks: Running Back
Mike Davis —Â Davis sets up as the ultimate chalk of Week 10. Davis sits at the minimum price on DraftKings and $5,400 on FanDuel. Davis handled at least 20 touches in four of his five starts with the Panthers in McCaffrey’s absence earlier this year. The Panthers face the No. 1 run defense in football in the Buccaneers. However, the salary savings with Davis are too much to pass up.
Aaron Jones — Perhaps not a true value, Jones still looks underpriced ahead of a Week 10 tilt against the Jaguars. The Jaguars are a bottom-half run defense, and the Packers enter this contest as 14-point favorites. Sweetening the deal, the game total currently sits at 52 points. Jones handled 20 touches in his return from injury against the 49ers and remains one of top value options at $7,100 on DraftKings and $8,800 on FanDuel.
NFL DFS Picks: Wide Receiver
John Brown — In his second game back from injury, Brown erupted for eight catches and 99 yards on 11 targets against the Seahawks. Escaping the week without a setback, Brown and Bills now face the Cardinals in a game totaled at a slate-leading 56 points. Arizona’s defense has struggled recently, allowing 30 points in back-to-back weeks. This includes 34 points to a struggling Dolphins team. With a locked-in role, Brown provides value at $5,300 on DraftKings and $5,600 on FanDuel.
Chris Godwin — In his return from a broken finger, Godwin played 94% of Tampa Bay’s snaps while seeing a team-leading six targets. Godwin only turned this volume into three catches, but his presence on the field bodes well moving forward. This week, Godwin faces a Panthers team in a game totaled north of 50 points. Sitting at $6,000 on DraftKings and $7,500 on FanDuel, Godwin makes sense at first look ahead of Week 10.
NFL DFS Picks: Tight End
Hunter Henry — Making another appearance on the First Look list, Henry continues to see volume in Los Angeles’ offense. Last week, Henry saw another seven targets. He has at least seven targets in six of eight games so far this season. Despite the volume, Henry scored only one of four touchdowns thrown to tight ends this year. This week, Henry faces a Dolphins’ defense that just allowed a pair of touchdowns to Cardinals’ tight ends.
Logan Thomas — Priced at $3,300 on DraftKings and $4,900 on FanDuel, Thomas continues to occupy the punt tight end range. Thomas sees modest volume in Washington’s inefficient offense. Thomas even has at least four targets in every game this season. Still, Thomas has eclipsed 50 receiving yards on just one occasion this year, making him a touchdown-or-bust asset. Luckily, Thomas has scored in two of his last three games.
