The Genesis Invitational is one of the most prestigious events on the PGA Tour, held at the historic Riviera Country Club. With a stacked field, it can be tough to identify the right DFS picks, but we have done the research to help you out. Let’s take a closer look at some of the best DFS picks for the 2023 Genesis Invitational.
2023 Genesis Invitational DFS Picks & Plays
Rory McIlroy – $10,500
McIlroy is the clear headliner for PGA DFS picks this week. He has been in sensational form recently, with finishes of first, fourth, first, fourth and first in his last five starts. He also has a strong record at this event, having gained 37 strokes on the field over his six starts. McIlroy is first in the field in strokes gained tee to green over the last 100- and 24-round sample sizes, and his well-rounded game makes him an ideal pick for this course.
Cameron Young – $8,800
Young may not be a household name, but he is a long hitter who has the potential to contend at Riviera. The course is forgiving for players who miss fairways, which is good news for Young, who ranks second in the field in strokes gained off the tee over the last 50 rounds. He finished second in his debut at this event last year and is in good form, ranking seventh in strokes gained tee to green over the same time frame.

Jason Day – $8,400
Day is playing some of his best golf in a while, with two straight top-10 finishes and eight top-21 finishes in his last nine starts on the PGA Tour. He is first in the field in strokes gained putting on poa annua and fifth in strokes gained tee to green over his last 24 rounds. Day’s poor course history at Riviera is a concern, but his recent form makes that forgivable.
Adam Hadwin – $7,500
Hadwin is another player in excellent form, with his recent run of 12 straight made cuts and two top-10 finishes in his last four starts. His strong iron play makes him a good fit for Riviera, where accuracy is key. He ranks eighth in strokes gained approach in the field over the last 24 rounds and has a solid track record at this event, with five top-26 finishes in eight starts.
GPP Flier – K.H. Lee $7,400
Lee has been quietly playing well over the last year, making 11 out of 12 cuts with three top-10 finishes since the British Open Championship at St. Andrew’s. He has also had some success at Riviera, making four of five cuts with three top-26 finishes. Lee’s strength around the greens will be an asset this week, as getting up and down will be key. With a projected ownership of only 6.6%, he is a great GPP flier.
