Tai Tuivasa | DraftKings: $8,900, FanDuel: $18
Tuiasa let the heavyweight division know he was here to stay in his UFC debut in November 2017, when he landed a supremely athletic flying knee that put Rashad Coulter’s lights out. He was supposed to take on Don’Tale Mayes, but Mayes had to drop out due to COVID-related issues. Now, Tuivasa will be taking on Harry Hunsucker, who took this fight on a few days’ notice. I expect Tuivasa will have the clear athletic advantage, but Hunsucker should bring enough power to make things interesting inside the octagon. Awesemo’s UFC DFS DraftKings and FanDuel Projections give Tuivasa 76% win odds with 51% chance for a knockout.
Kevin Holland | DraftKings: $8,400, FanDuel: $20
Holland is coming into this matchup on absolute fire. He fought five times last year, winning three via knockout, one via submission and one via decision. Holland’s 2020 campaign was remarkable, and I expect his 2021 campaign to be just as exciting, starting with a knockout win of Derek Brunson. However, Brunson can exploit Holland’s poor takedown defense and grind out a decision win, but I expect Holland will interrupt Brunson’s rhythm. Our UFC DFS projections give Holland 62% win odds with a 49% chance for a knockout.

Dawson is a grinder and will press forward looking for openings to shoot and put his opponents on the mat. He is 16-1 and has finished fourteen of his sixteen wins and eleven coming via submission. Dawson is a solid mid-range play due to his high pace and grappling heavy style especially on DraftKings. However, Leonardo Santos is live for an early submission and a possible knockout, but I expect Dawson to outwork Santos and Dawson is live for a late finish. Derek Brunson | DraftKings: $7,800, FanDuel: $15
Brunson is an athletic and powerful middleweight. Since working with Henry Hooft, Brunson has rejuvenated his career and will be looking to keep his winning streak going against Kevin Holland. Brunson is a former division two All American Wrestler. That said, I expect Brunson will bring a heavy ground attack to exploit Holland’s poor takedown defense, although he could let it play out on the feet as well. At $7,800, if Brunson gets the win by finish are decision, I expect he will probably end up on the optimal. Our UFC DFS DraftKings and FanDuel projections give Brunson 38% win odds.
