NBA Daily Fantasy Pick Today: Anthony Davis-Joel Embiid?
NBA Daily Fantasy Pick Today No. 1 – Joel Embiid: Philadelphia 76ers at Detroit Pistons

It is difficult to find the salary for Embiid, but he is one of the highest projected players on the slate and will look like a great option if value opens up later in the day. He has produced 1.83 DraftKings points per minute in 34 to 35 minutes per game this season and has a favorable matchup against the Pistons.
NBA Daily Fantasy Pick Today No. 2 – Giannis Antetokounmpo: Milwaukee Bucks vs Indiana Pacers

Giannis Antetokounmpo has a phenomenal matchup against the Pacers in a game with a total near 260 points. For the season, Antetokounmpo has produced 1.59 DraftKings points per minute in the 20 games that he has played with Damian Lillard this season, which is impressive but typically doesn’t warrant his current salary. In this matchup, however, he projects closer to 1.8 fantasy points per minute which makes him an appealing option if enough value opens that we can afford him.
NBA Daily Fantasy Pick Today No. 3 – Anthony Davis: Los Angeles Lakers at San Antonio Spurs

- Stokastic’s Ownership Projections: DraftKings: 7.4%/ FanDuel: 1.9%
Anthony Davis was questionable last night but managed to play on the front end of a back-to-back. He got dinged up during the game but was able to finish. He is now questionable again for the second half of the back-to-back. It seems like there is a good chance that the Lakers would hold him out against the Spurs, in which case we would get value in the form of some combination of Jaxson Hayes, Rui Hachimura and Christian Wood soaking up frontcourt minutes.
If Davis plays, however, he is in a favorable matchup against a fast-paced Spurs team that ranks in the bottom 10 in adjusted defensive rating. Davis is a better option on DraftKings than FanDuel thanks to a much cheaper price tag, but he would make for a viable contrarian option on FanDuel as well. He has produced 1.46 DraftKings points per minute in the 22 games that he has played with LeBron James active this season and would likely produce at a higher rate in this matchup.
