It is getting to do-or-die time for the Heat as they defend their home court in Game 4 down 2-1. The stars have come to play, and that is creating some solid opportunities to make some money with NBA PrizePicks. Stokastic’s Pick’Em Pro has identified a few spots to leverage against projections PrizePicks has set. Let’s take a look at two of those spots, including an up-and-comer in a massive shooting slump that he has to break out of eventually.
Stokastic’s Pick’Em Pro lets you sort by the win percentage column to see the greatest difference between the projection set by PrizePicks and Stokastic’s projections. Stokastic’s NBA DFS projections are updated regularly, including whenever any relevant news breaks.
NBA Player PrizePicks | June 9
Jimmy Butler More 47.5 Fantasy Points
Butler is definitely hurt — he is not getting to the free-throw line like he was in past series, and he is having trouble attacking the rim. That said, Miami is running out of chances, and Butler is projecting for 42 minutes tonight. This is the type of game where Butler will get the extra oomph he needs from the training staff because this is a game that the Heat absolutely have to win at home.
With that in mind, Stokastic has him getting 52.6 fantasy points, and he could even creep up towards 44 to 46 minutes if Miami gets desperate enough down the stretch. At some point there will come a game where Butler knocks down a bunch of mid-range shots, and he hit his PrizePicks scoring number last time out. Take the more on 47.5 fantasy points tonight.
Michael Porter Jr. More Than 21.5 Fantasy Points
Porter is trending down after going 1-for-7 from the field in Game 3, and the less on his field goal attempts paid out in that one. That said, Porter is a good basketball player with a high-level shot, and he is going to make some jumpers eventually. He just needs to hit a couple early and get some momentum to be on his way to cashing the more.
Of course, there is always the possibility of Porter getting just 22 minutes and ceding time to Bruce Brown and Christian Braun, but Porter is due for some positive regression on his shooting, and this could be the game where he gets a little confidence going. And that will make him more aggressive on the boards and on defense and get him over 21.5 fantasy points.
These are just two of the +EV plays on the NBA PrizePicks slate. Stokastic’s Pick’Em Pro has 31 more plays with more than a 50% expected win rate! Check them out HERE.
